You gotta know when to fold 'em
09.12.2012 Sometimes we wanna make that lift so bad that we don't know when to respectfully bow out. "Why the hell can't I lift that?? I JUST did it last week!" It seems so crazy that one week you can pull a heavy weight (even a PR) and it feels relatively "easy" and the next time you go to lift, you could be 25-30lbs OFF your PR and it seems like such a bear. Great article after the workout yesterday. Thanks Matt for pointing out poor technique and helping correct...and then just telling us to stop when we were obviously fatigued. I'm pretty sure Erin would have stayed all morning trying to clean 105:)
Too bad Kenny Rogers wasn't giving me this advice during the WODs all week! :-)
