A. Power Clean x1/ Split Jerk x 3- rest 2 min between efforts- increase load per set
B. Hang Power Clean Unbroken x 7 reps- 4 sets- increase load per set, goal is touch and go reps from hang- no pause at bottom of hang posisiton-
Trainer notes and Points of Performance:
Today is a pure strenght and skill day. It is dedicated to going heavy on the cleans and then working power endurance training on part B. Loading suggestions are as follows.
A. Start with 75% of your max Power Clean for set 1, and increase 5% each set. You will performa one clean and immediatley three split jerks.
B. Start with 60% of your best clean and go up 5% each set, its supposed to be done without putting the bar down.
