Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

Getting Started at CFNA

We've made starting CrossFit easy with our Elements New Member Intro Series.  It is designed for everyone at every fitness level, and is great way to feel the water before committing to a membership.

Our standard Elements series is a 6 x 1hour classes in which you'll learn the fundamental movements of CrossFit followed by a beginner level workout.

A new AM and PM series starts every two weeks, and classes should be completed during that time.

Morning Classes: 6:30 - 7:30 AM  Mon / Tues / Thurs
Evening Classes: 7:15 - 8:15 PM  Mon / Tues / Thurs

Not your first rodeo? Have a crazy schedule? Or maybe you just don't feel ready? Although Elements was designed for everyone, we know that one size does not always fit all. Thus, we offer several different options for completing this prerequisite course. See the options below and contact Dani to purchase and schedule.

Express Elements ........................ $199

Have lifting experience or an advanced athletic background but are new to CrossFit? This 2 class, one-on-one test out session might be right for you. Submit the contact form below for more info and to enroll. Note: This course must be purchased along with a CFNA membership.

Private Elements ......................... $249

This is a private 1-on-1 version of our 6 class Elements series shown above. Perfect for those who would prefer some individual attention or have limited schedules.

 

Extended Elements .................... $399

Our Extended Elements is designed for those of you who would prefer some individual attention or may need some more time to "get back in the game."  It is a 9 session package to be completed within four weeks.
