in 100 Words

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

CROSSFIT TRAINING

CrossFit is a revolutionary strength and conditioning program created to test the fitness of all individuals while expanding the traditional definition of fitness.  It is by design that the program delivers result through its constantly varied format, and accessibility to the masses with its universal scalability ( we can help anyone).  The more the individual trains Crossfit, the more functionally fit they become. 

Workouts include and combine running, rowing, olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, gymnastics, and plyometrics, while also moving loads over short and long distances, for repetition or time.  The program is designed to reward and create a balanced individual. Our specialty is Not Specializing. 

CROSSFIT CLASSES

CrossFit WOD - ALL LEVELS

Our Workout of the Day classes are 60 min from start to finish. They include a group warm up, stretching and mobility, lift instruction, skill development, and the WOD. The classes are instructor led and the environment is peer-driven.  This atmosphere provides an unparalleled experience, as our members benefit from our highly qualified and talented team, while the element of individual and group competition create and fuel an hour of power.

CrossFit Women Classes

This is a class that is 100% CrossFit and 100% for women.  The class takes place at 9:45am on regularly scheduled WOD days.  It is designed for the busy lady and/or “mother on the go.” The format is identical to our normal class structure, and accommodates all fitness levels. 

Heavy Fridays | Olympic & Power Lifting

This class is an “add on” option to all of our membership packages.  “Heavy Friday” is designed to educate and instruct individuals in a technique intensive environment.  Through the implementation of this class, we have watched our members  become more competent in all barbell movements. There remains a heavy emphasis on Olympic lifting, and is designated for all Fitness levels.   This class can be one of the 3x Week membership or added on as a 4th training day. CrossFit Kids

CrossFit Kids is a unique fitness program designed for kids of all ages and fitness levels.  Providing a healthy lifestyle for our children now is essential for their well-being later.  Whether your child plays athletics or not, it is imperative they learn the proper way to push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump both effectively and safely. CrossFit Games Prep Program

This is an invitation only program created the for the athlete interested in competing in CrossFit HQ  Open, Regionals, and CrossFit Games.  This is a 6 month commitment that includes membership, access, and custom programming.  Currently the group is closed until August 1, and will restart again in December 2012.  

SPECIAL OFFERINGS

Personal Training

1 on 1 personal training has been provided for CFNA members who need or desire a training experience that has both the benefits of custom programming with the comfort and direction of a coach.  Personal Training gives the coach the most intimate opportunity to assess and address the needs of the individual, furthering an even more unique training formula.  Eligibility and assessment is seen on an individualized basis. Custom Programming

Custom programming is a fitness program tailored towards a specific individual’s needs, wants, goals, and abilities.  Regardless of the purpose: lifestyle, fitness, or both, the product deviates from CFNA’s successful class structure, and allows personal strengths and limitations to be considered.  Eligibility and assessment is seen on a individualized basis.
